How the Winners will be Determined:
The Winners will be determined by tallying points provided by the judges and the audience. The points given by the judges are weighted heavier than the votes of the members of the audience.

There will be two or three judges. Each of the judges will rate each performance in each of the above categories on a scale of one to 5 with 5 being the best. The judges will not consult with each other in evaluating performances and will not be able to see the other judges’ ratings of performers. There will not be any feedback to the performers from the judges until the end of all performances. At the end of all the performances, the judges will have a chance to look over their scoring of all the contestants and make any final adjustments and choose the performer who that judge believes should get top place.

The contestant with the highest number of points, after the judges and the members of the audience have voted, is the first place winner. The contestant who gets the top score from a judge will automatically get 30 points. If two judges give the highest score to the same person, that person will automatically get 60 points, but if each of two judges picks a different person for first place, then the top contestant chosen by each judge will get 30 points. The person with the second highest score by each of the judges will get 15 points. The person with the third highest score by each of the judges will automatically get 5 points.

Before the judges’ scoring is announced, each person in the audience will be given one ticket to vote for the contestant of choice. it is possible for a contestant who does not score within the top three of the judge’s ratings to receive the same number of points as a contestant who does score within the top three of the judge´s rates, if that contestant receives enough votes from the audience to offset the weighted votes of the judges. It will take 30 votes from the audience to offset the 30 points given to a contestant with the highest score given by a judge. In case of a tie, the winner will be chosen by lot.
